Softball Recap: Waupaca Comes Up Short

Waupaca was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Luxemburg-Casco Spartans, falling 8-1. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, with their most recent loss being a 8-2 defeat on Monday.

Waupaca's loss dropped their record down to 4-22. As for Luxemburg-Casco, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 20-3.

Waupaca has already played their next game (against Iola-Scandinavia), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Luxemburg-Casco will be paying especially close attention to the Comets' matchup: after the Comets face off against the Thunderbirds, they'll take on Luxemburg-Casco again.
