Softball Game Preview: Washington Prexies vs. Brownsville Falcons

Washington is 0-3 against Brownsville since March of 2015 but things could change on Thursday. The Prexies will be playing in front of their home fans against the Falcons at 3:00 p.m. One thing working in Washington's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season.

Washington proved they can win big two weeks ago (they won by 18) and last Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past Bethlehem Center 13-12. While the Prexies didn't have the best season last year (they finished 0-4), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Brownsville's offense. They fell just short of McGuffey by a score of 1-0 on Wednesday.

Washington's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-0. As for Brownsville, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Washington suffered a grim 10-0 defeat to Brownsville when the teams last played back in April of 2016. Can the Prexies avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
