Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Moody walked away with it. Their pitchers stepped up to hand De Leon a 17-0 shutout on Thursday. The result was nothing new for Moody, who have now won eight contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Moody has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-8-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for De Leon, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-8.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Moody beat De Leon by a score of 17-0 later that day.
