Basketball Recap: Rye Cove Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Rye Cove can now relate to. They had to suffer through a 79-51 loss at the hands of the Eastside Spartans. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, with their most recent defeat being a 69-37 loss last Monday.

Rye Cove has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season. The victory (which was Eastside's fifth in a row) raised their record to 14-8.

As of now, neither Rye Cove nor Eastside have any future games scheduled.
