Softball Recap: Hoquiam Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Hoquiam won the last time they faced Rochester and things went their way on Thursday too. The Grizzlies blew past the Warriors 8-1. The result was nothing new for the Grizzlies, who have now won five contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory (which was Hoquiam's fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-7-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.5 runs over those games. As for Rochester, they dropped their record down to 1-14 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Hoquiam will challenge Pe Ell/Willapa Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Rochester, they will head out to take on Elma at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
