Volleyball Game Preview: Castle Park Trojans vs. Cristo Rey Coyotes

The Castle Park Trojans will square off against the Cristo Rey Coyotes at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Castle Park is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last eight games.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Castle Park and Bayfront Charter, and Castle Park kept the tradition alive. The Trojans put the hurt on the Sharks with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday.

While Castle Park won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-22, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Cristo Rey made easy work of High Tech NC on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Cristo Rey took every set by at least 25 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

Castle Park's win bumped their record up to 15-6. As for Cristo Rey, their victory bumped their record up to 6-14.
