Volleyball Recap: Carol City Comes Up Short at Home Against North Miami

Carol City unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the North Miami Pioneers by a score of 1-0 on Friday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

North Miami's victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

Carol City didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Northwestern on the 11th. As for North Miami, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Southridge on the 11th.
