Volleyball Game Preview: Charles Wright Tarriers vs. Annie Wright Gators

Charles Wright is 2-8 against Annie Wright since March of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Tarriers are taking a road trip to square off against the Gators at 6:30 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

On Friday, Charles Wright made easy work of Vashon Island and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Tarriers in their matchups with the Pirates: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Annie Wright got the win against Chimacum on Wednesday by a conclusive 3-0.

Charles Wright's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Annie Wright, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.

Charles Wright couldn't quite get it done against Annie Wright when the teams last played back in September as they fell 3-1. Can the Tarriers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
