Volleyball Recap: Bamberg-Ehrhardt Extends Winning Streak to Three

Bamberg-Ehrhardt had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came out on top against the Swansea Tigers by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 on Thursday.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Bamberg-Ehrhardt was: they took both sets by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-13.

Briaunjenai McMillan paced Bamberg-Ehrhardt's offense, picking up nine kills. McMillan got some help from Raelynn Jarrett and her eight assists. Ashlyn Hightower controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Bamberg-Ehrhardt's win bumped their record up to 16-1. As for Swansea, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.

Bamberg-Ehrhardt will take on Lowcountry Leadership at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Swansea, they will host Newberry at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
