Teagan Payne gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in May of 2024 on Tuesday. He was unstoppable, striking out six batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off six hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
