After losing to Sissonville the last time they met, Hoover decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Huskies came out on top in a nail-biter against the Indians on Monday, sneaking past 4-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Huskies.
Jayden Ledsome was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
Hoover now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Sissonville, their loss dropped their record down to 10-7.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hoover will face off against Nicholas County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sissonville, they will take on Nitro at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
