 On Friday, Spanish Fork got themselves on the board against Layton, but Layton never followed suit. Everything went their way against the Layton Lancers as they made off with  a  16-0 win. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for Spanish Fork.
  Alyce Archuleta was a major factor no matter where she played. She  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out ten over four innings pitched. Archuleta was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with four  RBI.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Olivia Carroll, who  went 2-for-2 with a  home run, three  RBI,  and a  double.  Tatum Hall was another key contributor,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
 Spanish Fork now  has a winning record of 2-1.
 Spanish Fork is on the road again  on Friday to play Desert Hills at 6:00  p.m. Desert Hills is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 6.6  runs per game this season. As for Layton, they will face off against Ridgeline at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Layton, yet to win a game, are hoping to taste some of the success that has characterized Ridgeline's (thus far) undefeated season.
