Baseball Recap: Ridgewood Comes Up Short

Ridgewood was the 10-0 winner over Paramus Catholic when they last played one another back in May of 2018, but their luck changed this time around. The Maroons fell just short of the Paladins by a score of 7-6 on Saturday. The Maroons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ridgewood's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Paramus Catholic, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ridgewood will face off against Teaneck at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Paramus Catholic, they will venture away from home to challenge Clifton at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The Mustangs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.75 runs per game on average), something the Paladins will no doubt try to take advantage of.
