Basketball Recap: Hanover-Horton's Loss Ends Seven-Game Winning Streak at Home

Hanover-Horton entered their contest against Leslie on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Hanover-Horton Comets fell to the Leslie Blackhawks 67-62. The Comets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blackhawks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Hanover-Horton's defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 9-6. As for Leslie, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Hanover-Horton will face off against Vandercook Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Leslie, they will venture away from home to challenge East Jackson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
