Baseball Recap: Lincoln Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Lincoln's offense. They came up short against the Indianola Indians on Monday, falling 11-0. The Railsplitters have struggled against the Indians recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Indianola, they are on a roll lately: they've won 23 of their last 25 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-5 record this season.

Lincoln will venture away from home to face off against Ames on Friday. As for Indianola, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 12-1 win against Creston on the 8th.
