Basketball Game Preview: Trinity Christian Lions vs. Upson-Lee Knights

The Trinity Christian Lions will venture away from home to square off against the Upson-Lee Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Trinity Christian has now lost 15 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since November 9.

It was a proper cat-fight when Trinity Christian challenged Spalding on Tuesday. Trinity Christian had to suffer through a 68-32 loss at the hands of Spalding. The match marked the Lions' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Trinity Christian's defeat came about despite a quality game from Brett Skinner, who posted nine points.

Meanwhile, Upson-Lee humbled Lamar County with an 80-50 victory. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 26 points or more this season.

Trinity Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Upson-Lee, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.

Trinity Christian took a serious blow against Upson-Lee when the teams last played back in December of 2024, falling 89-39. Can Trinity Christian avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
