Volleyball Game Preview: Westside Seminoles vs. Peach County Trojans

Westside is 0-5 against Peach County since August of 2019 but things could change on Tuesday. The Seminoles will look to defend their home court against the Trojans at 5:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

On Thursday, Westside came up short against Mary Persons and fell 2-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-10.

Meanwhile, Peach County had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 3-0 to Taylor County.

While Peach County ultimately came up short, they really made Taylor County work, particularly in the first set. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-16, 25-19.

Westside couldn't quite get it done against Peach County when the teams last played back in October of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Seminoles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
