Volleyball Recap: Clinton Christian Academy Comes Up Short on the Road Against Winston Academy

Clinton Christian Academy kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 3-0 to the Winston Academy Patriots. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it seven in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-10, 25-19.

Maggie Burns had a dynamite game For Winston Academy., getting ten aces and three digs. That's the most aces Burns has posted since back in August of 2024.

The win made it two in a row for Winston Academy and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Coincidentally, Clinton Christian Academy and Winston Academy will both be playing Heritage Academy the next time they take the court. The Patriots will head out to face the Patriots at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Warriors will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
