Baseball Recap: Western Tech & Environmental Science Takes a Loss

After flying high against Dundalk last Friday, Western Tech & Environmental Science came back down to earth. Western Tech & Environmental Science took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Parkville Knights on Monday. The Wolverines were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Western Tech & Environmental Science got a good showing from Travis Knipe, who tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.

On the hitting side, Western Tech & Environmental Science saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Braylon Sargent, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Western Tech & Environmental Science now has a losing record of 1-2-1. As for Parkville, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Western Tech & Environmental Science is set to face off against their familiar foe Loch Raven at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Parkville will square off against rival Randallstown at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
