Basketball Game Preview: Northwestern Lehigh Tigers vs. Mahanoy Area Golden Bears

Having just played yesterday, the Northwestern Lehigh Tigers will get right back to it and host the Mahanoy Area Golden Bears at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Northwestern Lehigh has given up an average of 49.8 points per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.

Northwestern Lehigh heads in on the heels of a playoff matchup on Friday. They were beaten by Scranton Prep 75-48. The game marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Mahanoy Area beat Notre Dame-Green Pond 65-56 last Saturday.

Northwestern Lehigh's loss ended a 17-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 24-4. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 24.4 points. As for Mahanoy Area, their victory bumped their record up to 21-4.
