Valley Christian entered their tilt with Seton Catholic on Tuesday with seven consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with eight. They were the clear victors by a 16-1 margin over the Sentinels. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 1-0 last Saturday.

Leigha Kremlacek was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with one home run and two runs. Another player making a difference was Sophie Kercsmar, who went 2-for-4 with five RBI and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Valley Christian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in four consecutive contests.

Valley Christian's win was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-2-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Seton Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 12-5-2.
