Volleyball Recap: Rivera's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to 13

Rivera had already won 12 in a row and they went ahead and made it 13 on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Donna Redskins as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Rivera took every set by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-6, 25-8.

Among those leading the charge was Mia Guerrero, who had six aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in August of 2024.

Guerrero wasn't the only good servers: Rivera was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 18 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 12 consecutive matches.

Rivera's record now sits at 29-7. As for Donna, their loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 14-15.
