Volleyball Recap: Juab Beats Gunnison Valley for Their Third Straight Win

Juab waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wasps also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2022.

Juab never let Gunnison Valley on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-21, 25-23.

Juab got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kendall Heap out in front who had three digs and three aces. Another player making a difference was Skylee Olsen, who had nine assists and five digs.

Juab now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Gunnison Valley, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

After both having extra time off, Juab and Manti will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. on September 4. As for Gunnison Valley, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against South Sevier on the 28th.
