King's Academy had already won seven in a row and they went ahead and made it eight on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the True North Classical Academy Titans. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 two weeks ago.

Ryan Huff paced King's Academy's offense, picking up ten kills. Huff got some help from Jake Manning and his 13 assists. Finally, Graysen Amestoy kept King's Academy's defense grounded, leading the team with nine blocks.

King's Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for True North Classical Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-6 record this season.

Coincidentally, King's Academy and True North Classical Academy will both be playing Braddock the next time they take the court. True North Classical Academy will head out to face Braddock at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while King's Academy will play them later in the day, at 5:00 p.m.
