Worthington Kilbourne made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Westerville South, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Wolves blew past the Wildcats 15-9 on Wednesday. Considering the Wolves have won six matchups by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Juliana Orlins made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Orlins was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.
In other batting news, Worthington Kilbourne got a big performance out of Josie Janosy, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Rae Pfeiffer, who scored three runs while going 2-for-5.
Worthington Kilbourne's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Westerville South, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
