East Providence extended their postseason success on Thursday against Tiverton. They took down the Tiverton Tigers 60-46. The victory was nothing new for the Townies as they're now sitting on five straight.

Despite the defeat, Tiverton saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Cami Oliveira posted 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jah'Niece Branch, who had nine points.

East Providence pushed their record up to 16-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.8 points on average over those games. As for Tiverton, they moved to 17-7 with that loss, which also ended their 12-game winning streak.

East Providence wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 60-40 defeat against Narragansett on the 6th. As for Tiverton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 50-30 loss against Portsmouth on the 7th.
