Preview: Rigby Trojans vs. Madison Bobcats
Rigby is on a 11-game streak of home wins, while the Bobcats are on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Rigby Trojans will take on the Madison Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Rigby can now show off 15 landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Tuesday. They breezed by Highland at home to the tune of 56-22. With Rigby ahead 38-12 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Kambree Barber continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 11 points along with eight rebounds and six steals. She has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last 11 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Mylee Graham, who scored ten points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, Madison didn't have too much trouble with the Rams on the road on Thursday as they won 46-28. Given Madison's advantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked 16th, while the Rams are ranked 91st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Rigby has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-2 record this season. As for Madison, their win bumped their record up to 15-6.
Rigby strolled past the Bobcats when the teams last played last Tuesday by a score of 49-35. Will Rigby repeat their success, or do the Bobcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
