Softball Game Preview: Chippewa Chipps vs. Waynedale Golden Bears

The Chippewa Chipps will take on the Waynedale Golden Bears at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Chippewa and three for Waynedale.

Chippewa lost 18-3 to Norwayne on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Waynedale came up short against Northwestern on Wednesday, falling 14-5.

Kendall Rising made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one run.

Chippewa's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Waynedale, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-10.

Chippewa skirted past Waynedale 2-1 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Will the Chipps repeat their success, or do the Golden Bears have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
