Soccer Recap: Point Pleasant Takes a Loss

Point Pleasant managed to slip by George Washington the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Big Blacks came up short against the Patriots on Saturday, falling 4-0. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Point Pleasant couldn't quite close it out.

This is the second loss in a row for Point Pleasant and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for George Washington, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Point Pleasant will square off against Alexander at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for George Washington, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-0 win against Riverside on the 26th.
