Softball Recap: Chancellor Takes a Loss

Chancellor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 34th straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Courtland Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 20-0 back in April.

Chancellor's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Courtland, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-10.

Coincidentally, Chancellor and Courtland will both be playing Caroline the next time they take the field. The Cougars will host the Cavaliers at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Chargers will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
