Baseball Recap: Mize Bulldogs vs. Heidelberg Oilers
Mize made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Heidelberg, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Mize never let Heidelberg get on the board and left with a 21-0 victory on Friday. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by six runs or more this season.
Will Duckworth looked comfortable as he tossed 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
On the hitting side, Mize got a massive performance out of Garrison Carrell, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2. Noah Gilpin was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-1.
