Freeport is 1-9 against Harlem since April of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Pretzels will welcome the Huskies at 4:30 p.m. Freeport will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.

Things were looking good for Freeport after they put the first run on the board on Wednesday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell 17-14 to Belvidere. While the Pretzels didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Bucs 5-0 in the first period.

Quinn Krzeminiski made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Grace Muench, who went 3-for-5 with four runs, one stolen base, and one double.

The scorekeeper got an easy start on Monday as neither Harlem nor Hononegah made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Huskies came out on top in a nail-biter against the Indians, sneaking past 7-5. Rylie Adams made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing five innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Those two runs gave her a new career-high.

Adams wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Addie Henderson, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double. Those two RBI gave Henderson a new career-high.

Harlem has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Freeport, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-15.
