Saltillo extended their postseason success on Wednesday against George County. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Rebels 3-1. The win was familiar territory for the Tigers, who have now won eight matches in a row.

WILSON RODRIGUEZ spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on five hits and racked up 11 Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, BAYLOR ROBERTS was excellent, going 1-for-3 with three stolen bases. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March. EASTON REYNOLDS was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Saltillo's victory bumped their record up to 27-5. As for George County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 24-12.
