Volleyball Game Preview: Plainview Bulldogs vs. Monterey Plainsmen + How To Watch

Plainview is 1-9 against Monterey since September of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Bulldogs are taking a road trip to take on the Plainsmen at 5:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Plainview lost 3-0 to Tascosa on Friday.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-21, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Monterey came up short against Coronado on Saturday and fell 3-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Plainsmen in their meetings with the Mustangs: they've now lost six in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-22, 19-25, 25-11.

Monterey's loss dropped their record down to 21-12. As for Plainview, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-16.

Plainview suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Monterey when the teams last played back in August. Can the Bulldogs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
