Softball Recap: Forest Hills Central Rangers vs. Christian Eagles
Forest Hills Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 14-3 to the Christian Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent loss being a 8-5 defeat on Wednesday.
Peyton Robinson made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season. Another player making a difference was Micah McClarty, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs.
Forest Hills Central's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Christian, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-7.
Coming up, Forest Hills Central will challenge West Ottawa at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Catholic Central at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
