Soccer Recap: Faith Academy's Run of Three Straight Wins Now Over

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Faith Academy can now relate to. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Indian Springs Student on Wednesday. Faith Academy were red-hot offensively heading into the game (they scored no less than four goals in the three matchups prior), but Indian Springs' defense proved too tough.

With the loss, Faith Academy broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 15-6-1. As for Indian Springs, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 18-4-3.

Faith Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Indian Springs, they will take on Guntersville in a tournament on Friday. Guntersville will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Indian Springs surely won't give up without a fight.
