Volleyball Recap: Gibbs Takes a Loss

Gibbs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Seymour. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Gibbs of the 2-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.

Gibbs' defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Seymour, they moved to 3-5 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Coming up, Gibbs will head out on the road to face off against Union County at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Seymour, they will venture away from home to challenge Greeneville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
