Northside Christian Academy had won two straight games and Jaylan Weaver did his part to make it three on Saturday. The Northside Christian Academy Crusaders walked away with a 70-63 victory over the Wilson Hall Barons thanks in part to Weaver, who almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine boards. He has been hot recently, having also posted three or more steals the last three times he's played.

Northside Christian Academy pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Wilson Hall, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northside Christian Academy will take on Southside Christian in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Northside Christian Academy's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. Wilson Hall and Florence Christian will compete for holiday cheer at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
