Basketball Recap: Celeste Comes Up Short

Celeste lost to Honey Grove back in February of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Blue Devils lost 56-32 to the Warriors. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Celeste's defeat dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Honey Grove, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-11 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Celeste will face off against rival Tom Bean at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Honey Grove is set to challenge their familiar foe Sam Rayburn at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
