Volleyball Recap: Burroughs Bears vs. Corona Panthers
Burroughs proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by three) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Corona Panthers, sneaking past 2-1. The Bears have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.
Burroughs had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-14, 15-12.
Despite the loss, Corona still got an impressive performance from Charlotte Christelman, who had five digs and four aces.
