Basketball Recap: Lakeview Has No Trouble Against Vestaburg

Lakeview lost to Vestaburg back in February of 2022, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Lakeview Wildcats blew past the Vestaburg Wolverines 55-34. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Wildcats as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Vestaburg's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Callie Bills, who posted eight points. The dominant performance gave Bills a new career-high in points.

Lakeview's victory bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Vestaburg, they moved to 5-10 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lakeview will venture away from home to square off against Utica at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Vestaburg, they will head out to face off against Fulton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
