Leading Curtis Baptist to victory were Treivan Wright and Wiltrez (Trez) Mincey. Wright went 6-for-10 to rack up 17 points, while Mincey almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine boards. Wright has been hot, having posted 17 or more points the last six times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brayden Husband, who posted six points and 12 rebounds.
Despite the loss, Richard Winn Academy still got an impressive performance from Charlie Bonds, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and ten boards. Josh Tyndell was another key player, putting up nine points.
Curtis Baptist's record now sits at 15-9. As for Richard Winn Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 17-5.
