Preview: Robinson Bulldogs vs. East Lincoln Mustangs
Having just played yesterday, the Robinson Bulldogs will jump right back in to play the East Lincoln Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Robinson will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.
On Thursday, Robinson sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 51-49 victory over West Cabarrus.

East Lincoln has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 39 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat Lake Norman Charter 92-14 on the road. East Lincoln's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
East Lincoln's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Taniyah Thomas led the charge by dropping a double-double on 24 points and ten steals. That's the first time this season that Thomas scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Montanari, who scored 23 points along with eight steals and five assists.
Robinson's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for East Lincoln, their victory bumped their record up to 7-1.
Robinson skirted past East Lincoln 73-70 when the teams last played back in December of 2018. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was East Lincoln's Brianna Tadlock, who scored 37 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Now that she won't be playing on Friday, will it be that much easier for Robinson to walk away with another win? Check MaxPreps.com after the match to find out.
