Softball Recap: Clovis Takes a Loss

Clovis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They fell 4-1 to the Clovis East Timberwolves. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Clovis' defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Clovis East, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3-1.

Coming up, Clovis will take on Madera in a tournament on Monday. As for Clovis East, they will square off against Arroyo Grande at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Timberwolves are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
