Football Game Recap: Strom Thurmond vs. Edisto

After a disappointing 3 points in the game before, Strom Thurmond made sure to put some points up on the board against Edisto on Friday. Strom Thurmond steamrollered Edisto 58-6. That's another feather in the cap for Strom Thurmond, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

Strom Thurmond got off to a slow start in their contest last week, but they had no such trouble against Edisto and cruised to a 16-point first half. Edisto countered with 6 points, leaving the score at 16-6 going into the half. Strom Thurmond put the contest away in the third quarter with 21 points from the offense and zero points allowed from the defense. The victory bumped their record up to 5-2. The defeat dropped Edisto's record to 3-2.

Strom Thurmond will be staying on the road next week, facing off against Swansea. Unlike Strom Thurmond, Swansea will be limping in after taking a loss. As for Edisto, they will face off against Pelion.
