Milan kept up with Rising Sun until halftime on Thursday, but afterwards: not so much. The Shiners never let the Indians get on the board and left with a 3-0 win. Rising Sun might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by three goals or more this season.

Weston Cumberworth and Carson Wilson scored all three of Rising Sun's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 18 goals.

The victory made it two in a row for Rising Sun and bumps their season record up to 9-5-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two matchups. As for Milan, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-11-1.

Rising Sun and Milan are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Shiners will square off against Oldenburg Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Oldenburg Academy's last four contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Milan, they will take on Union City at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
