Recap: Oakwood Eagles vs. Harrells Christian Academy Crusaders
Sadly, the Oakwood Eagles are still looking for their first win of the season after 19 games. They took a serious blow against Harrells Christian Academy on Tuesday, falling 87-20. Oakwood has not had much luck with Harrells Christian Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Harrells Christian Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zicareian Mcneil, who scored 23 points along with five steals. Antonio McKoy was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with six rebounds and five steals.
Oakwood dropped their record down to 0-19 with that defeat, which was their 18th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Harrells Christian Academy, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 20-10.
Oakwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Harrells Christian Academy, they will face off against Rocky Mount Academy at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Rocky Mount Academy is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
