Basketball Game Preview: Collinsville Cardinals vs. McAlester Buffaloes

The Collinsville Cardinals will head out to square off against the McAlester Buffaloes at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. McAlester took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Collinsville, who comes in off a win.

Collinsville took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 58-43 victory over Claremore.

Meanwhile, McAlester ended up a good deal behind Durant on Tuesday and lost 64-45. The game marked the Buffaloes' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Collinsville now has a winning record of 5-4. As for McAlester, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5.

Collinsville beat McAlester 56-46 when the teams last played back in January of 2019. Will Collinsville repeat their success, or does McAlester have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
