Basketball Recap: Nodaway Valley Comes Up Short

Nodaway Valley was the 61-58 winner over Central Decatur when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Nodaway Valley Wolverines were just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 65-64 to the Central Decatur Cardinals. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Nodaway Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Central Decatur, their win bumped their record up to 11-8.

Looking ahead, Nodaway Valley will head out to face off against St. Albert at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Albert will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Nodaway Valley surely won't give up without a fight. As for Central Decatur, they will host Lamoni at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
