Baseball Game Preview: Seton Catholic Cougars vs. Overlake Owls

The Seton Catholic Cougars will square off against the Overlake Owls at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Seton Catholic 2.1, Overlake 4) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Last Thursday, Seton Catholic earned a 6-2 victory over King's Way Christian. The win continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won seven in a row.

Teddy Wieczorek was incredible, going 2-for-4 with four stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Graham Dumas, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.

Meanwhile, Overlake came up short against La Center on Thursday, falling 9-2. The Owls have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Seton Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Overlake, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-5.
